Default Overdrive button

Hi i have a Durango SLT 1998 5,2 and when a drive on a hiway a dont fell the diffrens when a press in the overdrive butten and the lamp never comes on the display, is it normal or dont a have a overdrive on this modell????

If there is a button for it on the end of your gear shift lever, you should have it regardless. Do you see a difference in RPM's when you press the button? If you do not then there is definately something wrong.
