Default -I Need Tons of Mods, Please Help-

So far I'm loving my '05 Dak, but I have found plenty of things that need some changes. I have the ST 4x4 Club Cab with the 4.7L V8. I already installed a K&N Filtercharger, and while I feel a bit more low-end grunt and notice a difference in sound, I can't help but feel like I've lost some top-end for some reason. I've heard the whole disconnect the negative terminal, turn the key, reprogram the ECU bit, but how exactly should I drive while the computer is reprogramming? Also, does anyone know the offset and backspace of the stock wheels? I want to install some M/T Classic II's wrapped in Dueler A/T Revo's but can't find the info anywhere. American Racing's website says 5-5.5 bolt spacing, +25 offset and 4.5 backspace, but I want to be sure. Also, with a 16" wheel, what's the largest P-Metric size tire I can fit? I'm thinking 275/70R16's. After that I would like to install some improved exhaust system plus headers, get all the plasitc out of the engine (valve covers, intake manifold), and chip it. If anyone knows where I can find any of those mods for this truck, plase let me know. I saw that someone here got Flowmaster 40's installed, and it sounds great, but where can I buy that setup or what do I need to have it installed? I know JET makes two performance chips for the '05 at this point, but I'm guessing it would be best to install a less restrictive exhaust before I buy it. If anyone has any other mods that they know of that are worthwhile, let me know. My goal is around 300-325hp and 350lb-ft of torque. Please help me get there. Thanks a lot guys!

All the good old 4.7L mods will work on your truck, ASP underdrive pully, Fastman t/b, ho or brtter cams, exhaust is up to you a good shop can make you anything you want. didn't see your rear end gears they can make a big diff., ditch the clutch fa & get one of those new flexalites #180 gives 3300 cfms. lots of cool & about 15 horses.Alot more can be done but thats a good start & should be close to300 h/p

Why no JET? I thought it was a good way of squeezing all that you can out of your engine. The other dilema is, I don't have a tone of cash, so my main priority is getting the most power for my cash. About how much does all of that cost? I don't have a proper workspace/garage at my house, so I'll have to get it installed too. Which of those mods will generate the most power in and of its own?

Okay, I found the Fastman throttle body website and I have two questions. What kind of power can I expect from it, and what's the install like? I don't want anything that will void my warranty. Other than that, it's pretty resonably priced and I might have to get one.

Alright, I really should do my research before I post again, but I found the High Output cams and intake manifold. I have to contact my dealership's parts guy to see what they will run me, but the H/O cams, intake manifold and that Fastman throttle body should bring the power up significantly. Thanks for the advice, I just need to find prices now.

If any of those parts can be proven to cause a failure, that failure won't be covered under warranty. You modify your engine, you take the risk and responsibility of it failing.

I bought both my t/b & cams from Dan (fastman) like $380 + freight. You don't need the intake talk to Dan when you call him, he'll tell you everthing you need to know & he knows what he's talking about.
