Default 95 grille removal?

Hello, I need to replace the spring under the hood striker assembly, but I have to remove the front grille first. I removed all the screws from the top and the from the headlamps on the side, but the grille isn't coming off; something on the bottom is holding it. I'm not sure if there are plastic tabs on the bottom and if I should just give it a more forceful jerk upwards. Anyone know? thanks

There are mors screws to undo underneath. You will need a fairly long standard #2 phillips screw driver to get them. There are I believe 5 under there. One on each end of the headlamp assembly, one on each end of the grill that is also attaching the headlamp bezel, and one in the middle. After those are out, it should free right up. If you look between the bumper and the grill with flashlight, you should be able to see them. Hope this helps.

Yes, thank you very much, there were indeed 3 very hard to see screws between the bumper and grille that I would've never noticed. Working outside in daylight actually made them even harder to see because so much light was reflecting off the chrome bumper (even though it was cloudy).
