RE: Door window glass replacement
The manuals that I looked at didn't say how to get the window in. ANd well I didn't have to remove the old one since someone broke the window and tried to steal the stereo.
I figured out that you need to roll the window all the way down (it heps when you go to put the new window back in). Then pull off the handle that rools the window down. It should pop off the door. Take off the trim for the door handle. Then take off the inside door panel (a few screws). The panel should pop off after that.
Then to get the new window in you have to hold it from the outside of the car and put it in at a bit of an angle into the top opening of the door. It helps to have two people so one can be on the other side of the door to hold the window so you don't drop it into the door breaking it. Then you have to make sure it is correctly in the grooves of the door so it will go up and down propperly.
After that it is the reverse of the beginning putting all the pieces back onto the car door and panel. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to do since it took a while to figure out how to get the window in the right way. Of course next time (and I hope that there isn't one) it wouldn't take that long hopefully like 20-30 minutes.
