I'm probably going to be getting my dad's 4.7L Jeep Grand Cherokee limited, and i was wondering, if i got the kenne bell supercharger for it along with the optimiser II, boost a pump, boost a spark, would it be way too much power for the other stock components to handle and end up being bad in the long ruN?

Well you might want to check w/ Kenne Bell or ask the folks on allpar.com... a few of them have supercharged Jeep Grand Cherokees (WJ models).

trans and diffs can handle it, cranking up the boost on a 4.7 with some miles on it might not be good idea though, keep boost around 5-7 psi, no problem.

I have this done to my 99 grand cherokee and I have had i tlike this for a little over three years and only one minor problem with the intake and my speedshop who did the job covered the part all I had to pay was labor! I had it done at 26k I now have 97k and no problems yet!

The 4.7L can definitely handle it.. but keep the boost low, like mentioned above. Make sure you get some tests done including compression tests first.

FI is always going to put some extra strain on stock internals.. just check and double-check the components to make sure that they'll live up to the boost.
