Default NEW EMBLEMS

As soon as I got my new Magnum home 2weeks ago, the first thing that I did to it was remove all of the emblems from the tailgate. The ugly dealer decal inspired me at first, then I removed the 'magnum' and 'rt' emblems too. I thought I'd like it plain, but I changed my mind.

I went on Ebay and got a "5.7 litre, HEMI, magnum" emblem from a Dodge pickup for the lower right corner of the tailgate and a really nice METAL R/T grille badge from a 68 Coronet to attach to the lower right side of the front mesh grille. These emblems look SO much better than the OEM ones for only about $50. I'll post some pics when I mount the grille emblem.

BMW Nick,
Hold up there partner! Before you go scoping out the Old School Emblems of past, check out the 2006 R/T and Hemi Emblems. The R/T Emblem is like the Charger R/T Emblem, below, and the Hemi Badge is spelled out H-E-M-I in Chrome Letters just like the Magnum and RT Emblems you shaved off the Back of your RT. I know you said that you are going to post pics, but the best Emblem I have seen so far is the Red R/T Emblem from the '71 Challenger. That is only if you have a Black RT. I have a Mineral Gray RT, so the Chrome looks best for my color.

I have pics here of the '69 Coronet emblem on the rear, and the '70 Challenger emblems on the front panels, with king-size pics linked.

Get the deck-lid versions if you want stick-ons. Personally I think the vintage emblems are the way to go with this car. I'd haul off the new r/t if I had an '06. Makes a direct connection to the term 'hot rod' without even having to step on the gas pedal. An instant nut-shrinker for that ricer in the next lane.

Matt Robertson,
Dude, Sweet...

OK, so it's a '70 Challenger, but your ride is the ride I was talking about above. Grinners ride with your emblems, now there's a Magnum... I like the Black Magnum with the Red Emblems and Brake Calipers. Did I already mention how I feel? Dude, Sweet...

Very Nice! Those fender emblems look smaller than the one that I got. I layed up the R/T emblem against the mesh grille and it looks better than I thought so I' going to mount it. If it's too big then I might be askin' you where you got your Challenger emblems.
Your tailgate looks great too. The red on the emblems looks cool against the black paint. I'm having too much fun for a grown man with this car..............aw, screw it!

Those new R/T emblems are pretty nice but after I got my hands on the old school metal one, I might be now trashing my new "5.7 HEMI" plastic emblem off of my tailgate and getting another metal one in it's place. I hate plastic.

I'm still deciding whether I like the big R/T emblem or not. Where did you get your Challenger R/T emblem. that size might be better.

Here are photos of what I did, I used the 70' Challenger R/T along with a fender HEMI emblem on my tailgate.

I got my Challenger emblems at Jack's Auto Parts. Part EM19.

http://www.jacksautoparts.com/catalog/emE.html

I believe the smaller Coronet emblem is EM160 here

http://www.jacksautoparts.com/catalog/emB.html

Not sure so check with them first. Got my Coronet emblem on Ebay.
