Nice Car.
2006 Dodge Charger.
For those of you that will be getting one,... I wish i were you.
Looks like its going to be pretty fast out of the box plus i like the way it looks. i like the curves and lines of it.

There was discussion on how many colors are available for the Dodge Charger. There are actually 9 available colors for the 2006 Dodge Charger! There’s Bright Silver, Brilliant Black, Cool Vanilla, Inferno Red, Magnesium, Midnight Blue, Silver Steel, Go ManGo!, and Top Banana. The Go ManGo! and Top Banana colors are only available on the Dodge Charger Daytona R/T. If you are interested this is the link to build & price a Dodge Charger. I hope this helps! I can’t say for certain when you’ll find the Dodge Charger right on the main page, is there something that you’re looking for? Currently the Daytona R/T isn’t on the build & price section. I’ve looked through our resources and we don’t have any pricing information right now either. The only suggestion I have is to call one of your local dealers, they may have pricing information.

OK John thanks for the information, my next question is if there in time will be an AWD Charger r/t. You might not know, but my dream car right now this point in my life is a silver AWD charger r/t with a 6 speed auto. i know you are developing a 6 speed auto, but will be eventually be placed in a charger, preferably an AWD charger.

Thanks for the responses BadStratRT and Nickoman01!
They haven’t announced an official release date for the 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 at this point, but we have been informed that we should have pricing information on the SRT-8 by mid-June. In most cases Dealerships get the build & price for the vehicle around the same time. The only difference is that they have the ability to actually place the orders. After you place an order for a vehicle the usual wait time is 6-8 weeks. So we may have a clearer idea of a release date by the middle of June.
At this time Dodge hasn’t made any official announcements indicating that they will go forth with an AWD for the Dodge Charger. The same holds true for the 6 speed auto, no official word. The only suggestion I have is to stay tuned, as Dodge does it’s best to provide something for everyone.

My inside source have told me, and I have posted this once before...
Production of the 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 (codenamed LXDX49) will begin on May 17th, 2005. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 (codenamed LXDX48) will begin production on September 12th, 2005. My source, also has stated while rear wheel drive is standard now, don't be suprise to see the Charger have an AWD option in 2007.
