Default Cheap but effective

Hey Guys!
I bought a 1993 Stealth ES a couple of months ago, and I'm in love with the car. Now I just gotta figure out how to give it some giddyup! I took out the stock air intake box and replaced it with a performance intake, and I took out the resonator. My plans are to put on an exhaust system, but is there one that is really good? What else can I add that would increase performance, without spending upwards of $1000? The engine already has 118,000+ miles on it, so should I just save up for an engine swap/rebuild, or just pimp the hell out of this one?

I hate to say this, but just save up and get an R/T Twin Turbo or do like I did and get an SRT-4, you also get a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty with it.[sm=smiley20.gif]To get alot out of your ES it's gonna take a lot of money and upgrades.

http://www.3sxperformance.com/

Check these guys out. You could spend a boatload of money on your ES and never be as fast as a SRT-4. By the same token, you would not have to drive a Neon. Also check out 3si.org You'll find some good info on that site. It is usually very expensive to modify a NA stealth. You will spend a ton of money and not have near the performance of TT Stealths.

Good luck,

Billy

Yes these cars are expensive being that you can only find so many of them and the parts are hard to come by. This isnt a honda where they come a dime a dozen, these cars a quality built. And to turn this car fast you are going to have spend plenty of denaro, because they are some of the fattest cars around. The average weighing in at 3200, for a two door sports car thats pretty fat. But the best you can do is upgrade to a R/T TT. All i have done to my car is take the air resonator out so i know where youre coming from. And you can go to places like http://www.3sxperformance.com/ or http://www.dragracing.com/ has some select parts. and there is a site http://www.stealth3000gtparts.com/ where you can order parts from other wrecked stealths or 3kgts. But I am sorry to say if you want cheap you are going to get cheap products. And even then the selection is slim. But you bought and expensive car, expect to pay for it.
