Cruise Control on the blink - 2/22/2004 2:38:21 PM    pause Posts: 14 Joined: 2/11/2004 Status: offline Today I was enjoying the convienence of the Cruise Control on my 96 Intrepid, and press the "accel" button twice to speed up from 40 - 45 and the Cruise light turned off. I pushed the On/Off button a couple times, and every 7 or 8th time the Cruise Light would come back on, but only for a couple of seconds at most. Is my cruise control gone for good? Post #: 1

Nevermind, I just found it: Description: Speed control solenoid(s) circuit is open or shorted. Hmm... And I think you're right dodgemech, because just this morning, my "airbag" light came on, and didn't shut off, which is also associated with the clockspring. Anyone got one for sale that hasn't been set off yet? (in reply to pause) Post #: 4
