Default Old vs. New Style

Do you prefer the old style Durango or the new style Durango?

I like the old style better... but I think that's becauseI haven't seen too many NEW oneson the road and they not a part of my 'every day drive' LOL! Both versions rock though... LOL!

Opinions...?

Default Old vs. New Style

At first they looked to much like a soccer moms mini van, but now I think that because I have seen more first hand they are starting to become more appealing!!

Me too... they are starting to trickle out of the Tech Center around here... very nice... but the old style was so... awesome ... when it first came out, the never before thought of styling cues... hmmmmm.... yummmy. LOL!

The new style is great to boost the market though! Very aggressive...

I like curves and thats what the olds got so as for the new one they suck. Not feeling the euro style lights or the boxierstyle only cool thing it has going for it is the hemi. So basically the car has become a walking contradiction. Woman's style vs. a man's power. Oh well.

What makes you think it's a Women's style and a Man's power?? My truck has TONS of power... So, don't say it's a womens look... I prefer the old style more, but the new one is growing on me... you've gotta love the Hemi!

I kinda like it so far, to me it looks like a big Jeep Liberty. But hay you definatly got to love the HEMI. It'll get better with time the more you see it on the street. I thought that the new rams looked kinda big and bulky but hey with time it didn't seem so bad and what can you say I have a new ram.

i like the new style 4x4 better if i was going to go with the off road look with it. if i was going for the lowered look it would have to be the old style for the smooth lines.

Default RE: Old vs. New Style

Hi folks

I'm a new member; however, a long time fanatic of Dodge, in specific Durango. When this beauty came out in 1998, I absolutely loved the right size and the rugged look (More masculine, manly; not being sexist here). They broke my heart when they redesigned it and enlarged it... It now looks like a bad combination between a pumpking and a minivan. Now it looks like just another American SUV (Escalade). They took my Durango away, I'll never forgive Dodge. Now, I only approve of the Ram, Caravan.

Default RE: Old vs. New Style

The old style is my style. It has that 4x4...off road look. The new style looks more like a street vehicle. The new look has become more attractive. I have seen a few with some custom changes that looked good. I use to call it a caravan on staroids....
The old style is my prefrence still though....
