I have a 1997 avenger it is getting spark and fuel, it cranks but wont crank all the way. it acts like it wants to start but wont!! I checked the valve for compression they all are in working order. but when im trying to get it to start its back firing through thet throttle body! CAN ANY ONE HELP ME PLEASE!! IM OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS ASAP

Sounds like timing belt

Already checked timing ang the belt too that's already been ruled out too!!
Any one else got any clues?

Have your alternator checked, you may not have enough juice to keep it running, thats just an idea though, im not a mechanic
