Default ota's Which one should I get

Hi Guys,
I've been part of the S-10 forums and now I'll soon be switching over to Dodge, we all ready have a Dodge Mini van w/ A 3.8L. & were looking for a truck
I like our Van it has been very reliable to us so I thought it would be safe to try a truck.

I'M in the market for a new truck,I like the look of the Dakota's but not sure of which will be best for me.
My family & I are in the market for a 20' tow behind as well(we have a Pop-up) but will sell that once we get are new one.
Most of the tow behinds that we've been looking @ are 4-5K in weight,So we'll need something w/ Kahoonies,I like the four door crew cab's are they look much better than the Club cab.how much more room dose it offer?I also don't want a 4X4 & IM not looking for a V8 as well,I want the power but not the gas sucker!
I have a 5-spd and don't mind it at all should i get the same for my Dakota & will I save that much more vs an automatic?
Sorry for all of the resrictions but I have a lot to learn before I commit.
Plus I will hook it up w/ some Rims w/rubber bands, tint the windows, give it cold air intake w/ a K&N filter & change the pulley's.It would be nice to get a chip for it but we'll see,one mod at a time.
Here's a pic of my current daily driver I did all the work myself & I will make my new ride as custom as possable.

Thanks in advance.
bob
