Default 89 v6 to v8 conversion

I'm looking to put a magnum v-8 into a tired 1989 Dakota as the first step in customizing this truck. Currently has original v-6 (3.9L) with 5 speed stick. I would like to put in a 5.2 L and was wondering if this would be a plug and play option or if it will required a lot of parts swapping???

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: 89 v6 to v8 conversion

Well i dont think that they come stock as sticks (the rams dont anyways) and it would require a bit of effort in the wiring department and with the motor mounts.
