I am new to this sight and thaught I would try it out and see if I could get some help. I have a 1998 sebrin JXI limited, and it is making like a crackling sound on the right front side. It isn't a lifter or anything. I just cant seem to find it. So if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

When does it make the cracking sound? All the time, when turning, only while the car is moving, etc. A cracking sound could be a number of different things.

It happens when the car starts to warm up, basically sitting at an idle, or if you lightly touch the gas. I thaught it might be a pulley, or baring of some kind. I just cant figure it out.
