Has anyone tried to find the top speed limit on a new HEMI Ram. Had mine up to 105 mph today on the way to church. Truck started moving around a little, very windy, and the wife was getting nervous, so I backed out of it.
At least I know it's higher than My 01 dakota was. 97 MPH
I suppose the Church Lady would have a kitten if she only knew. I believe not much over 105 is about the limit without making some kind of modification.

I think it is eprom-limited, just discard the speed limiter in the eprom and it should be able to go around 125 mph or also something more (a good tuner could do the job easily).
I didn't have any indictation at 105 that it was being limited. I'll have to call the service department and see if they know.
I may try to find a tuner shop and see if they can do away with the limiter. It's not like I'll ever drive it that fast, but I like to know I can if I want/need to.
My local dealer said that the Hemi with the factory tires and 20" wheels will run 120 at 2000 rpm... I dont know if he knew what he was talking about cuz thats pretty fast...

I'm pretty sure he doesn't (know what he's talking about). In high gear, my 5-speed HEMI Ram w/20" wheels turns ~2,100 RPM at 80 MPH. 2,000 RPM at 120 MPH is way off.
