This thing looks like a monster. It looks okay but I think I prefer the 2nd(cause thats what I got) and 3rd gen Rams. The Mega Cab is an excellent idea but it will be a mistake if Dodge doesn't come out with a long bed. No doubt it would be a pain to drive, but anyone who ever uses their truck for work on a farm knows that 8ft bed is a life saver. If you put a toolbox in the 3rd gen ram shortbeds the bed gets really small. We just put one in my dads 05 2500 4x4 short bed and now my dad and I use my 01 1500 shortbed more for working than his HD because of the bed size. I know that more and more people are using trucks in urban enviornments but, the biggest consumers of 2500 and 3500 trucks are still mainly in the country so I think that the long bed should at least be offered on these trucks. Also I want to know whats happening with the 6.1 HEMI! (in reply to Snafu) Post #: 30
