This site needs a chat room, every site has one  I think this would reduced the amount of "back and forth" posts...


EXAMPLE: "Hi, how are you"


              "good, u?"


              "Im great. Whats today(lol)"


             "dunno..."


Whats your guys thoughts on this topic? Feel free to speak your mind

Well, I personally don't like the idea of a chat room because I'm busy working online and dealing with my son... I try to make every post I make have a good point... I don't answer with just "lol" or a smiley... The chat room requires you to be there the whole time when I just like being able to come and post as much as I can and talk about Dodge. :)


I've never seen a post asking "how are you" but I think your referring to some chat yesterday about camping...?? 95% of the time I PM that stuff with Dodgefreak... rarely is the board just idle chit chat.


That's my opinion. If this place had a chat room, I'd rarely be in it... but for those who would utilize it, great suggestion!

But yeah, a chat room woul be great!!...just dont make it Java based...I wouldnt be able to get in from work!!

I know, not to offend dodgegirl but when i got home she had 60 more posts than i did!! And just like an hour before it was around 20...

Status: offline 		I actually like this Idea because it would not have to be monitored if an automatic bot moderator was used...I.E. kick people for profanity etc. these bots can be programmed to automatically keep the peace in the room. For those of us like me who are in this forum from work it would be GREATLY useful for communicating in realtime so as to no delay on important subjects. Just my two cents on the matter...not that my two crnts really matter but hey!

71RoadRunner's photo gallery 		I like the idea. It could be useful to those who need help now and not later on something their doing. I also understand the opposition to it as well. It seems to me that it would be a nice addition, after all it wouldn't be a replacement for the forum. I still prefer the forum because I'm rarely on when anyone else is. And if something important comes up I'll find out when I get on, whereas if it is mentioned in a chat room I won't know about it.
