2002 dodge stratus r/t coupe performance stats???

does anyone know any performance stats on this car? i can't find them anywhere on the internet, please let me know

im looking for 0-60, 0-120, 1/4 mile speed and such.....is there an easy way to time the 0-60 and 0-120? do i just use a regular stopwatch and have someone ride in the car and time me or what? ive tried doing it myself but its hard as hell to hold the stopwatch, hold the wheel and shift all at the same time

go to a dragstrip....your car wont eb anywhere near 120 in the 1/4 mile...

search online for a review of the car, and it should include performance numbers...i dont rememebr them.

I will tell you what i know from article that i have read on the Stratus R/T

The '01-'04 Stratus R/T's have 200HP. And the 1/4 mile time is 15.3 seconds. But i have run better with my car. I have run 15.0's... I guess it all depends on the driver. Now that is stock. No Mods done what's so ever. I don't know the 0-60 or 0-120 times but i will try to get back to you on that one. I will do some digging around.

Hey you wanted to know what the 0-60 times were well i did some digging and i found out some infor for you.

0-60 in 7.4 sec. Manual
1/4 mile time is 15.7@90.0mph
Top Seed is 130mph (estimated)

Now i can tell you that my stratus run 15.0 in the 1/4

So i don't know how acurate that info is but that is what i found for you just browsing the internet.

that top speed is badly understated....car and driver had an article in sept of 2002, stating that it WOULD pin the speedometer...thats 150. ive had mine to around 143, but alot of the 2002 R/Ts had a different computer than the 01s, and our governed to something like 135.

You are probably right about the top speed but i was just typeing from the info that was on the screen on the website that i was on. So i don't really know what computer they are using now but.....When i get back to the states(im in Iraq right now) I am going to check and see what exactly the 04 stratus R/T will do. Man it's been so long, i can't wait to get back. I really miss driving my cars.

I have the 5 Spd manual and it's fast, faster than my "97 Prelude or my 99 Civic Si easily ! It's completely stock except for a K&N Air filter and Toyo tires. I keep it maintenanced and I believe one trick to it is to keep the fuel injectors and fuel system running clean with the fuel additives, they work , and use Synthetic Oil !!!!! I was surprised when I first bought this Stratus R/T Coupe after driving high powered hondas for so long, since then my wife decided the Stratus is hers so I sold the hondas and bought me a little Ford Escape LIMITED 4x4. The Stratus will run circles around the Escape too !

i will be buying a 2004 Stratus R/T coupe.....this weekend hopefully. I was wondering, since we're talking bout 1/4 mile times and such, do you think the R/T (auto) can take a grand am GT (auto). I see 15.7 1/4 mile for a GT and i see varying 1/4 miles for the R/T (15.7, 15.3, 15.6)

just wondering.
