I know a co worker of mine..who drives a ford escort though...had a bad bulb in hers and it caused it to keep her engine light on. A sensor could be bad also. Thought it was loose gas cap but it's clicking tight. If a check engine light appears due to a loose gas cap - does it "self heal" after the gas cap is tightenedd? Truck is 98 Dak 5.2/5 speed.
