New Intake on an '05
In a quest to get a bit more sound from my 4.7, I fit an intake from an '04 onto a 2005. It's not a true CAI, but it's a start.
Minor fitment problems, and hopefully, I'll pick up a few mpg. The sound alone is well worth it. I posted full details here: Intake Writeup |

Finally, some pictures...
They are hosted by imagestation, so they will occasionally show up as red Xs. Refresh, if they do. General fitment: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...7/f523d681.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...3/f523d672.jpg |

That's slightly skewed. I'll try to fix it in the Spring, I may be able to get it straightened out. For now though, it doesn't leak, so I'm happy with it.

I'll buy a piece of hose and the right size clamps in the Spring. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...4/f523d686.jpg Finally, the IAT. I had to punch a hole in the rubber to make a spot for it. It's holding, though. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...2/f523d68a.jpg |
