Default need some quick starter help

Ok, trying to get the nut off the post on the starter. Turns out, the one that is on the Cvan is a metric 12. So once I finally found my metric tools, went to turning. I swear I have turned the nut for half an hour and it's still in the same place on the bolt. What the he!! ! Now what? I have verified that the nut is turning, and the post is not. I count 5 threads showing, and after spinning and spinning, there are still 5 threads showing. What do I do now? I don't think there's room to even get my dremmel in there and cut the nut or post without risking hitting the connector. Ideas? Please! Somebody!

Default RE: need some quick starter help

Disconnect battery and lower the starter down and try to get the nut off by cutting back side of the post off.
