Default Need A/C help.

Ok, my 05 DGC w/ 3.8 doesnt have a/c and the wife is leaving on a trip from MI to TX next week and she wants a/c understandably. So I checked to see if it had and R134 and found out there was a puntcure in the tubing on the high pressure side. I replaced the tubing and tested it for leaks and then filled the system with refridgerent its holding the 134 at a proper amount but I am not getting any cold air when the a/c is on. I have checked the compressor and it seems to be operating fine, I also have tried reseting any computer controlling the a/c by disconnecting the battery for a half hour, still isnt working. But i am hearing a hissing noise, almost like air filling the tube coming from under the dash around the condenser. It makes the noise any time the a/c is on, so could this be a problem? Can anyone think of what it could be or know what is wrong? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.
