Default Would flushing help?

I have the last post about my daughter buying the 01 Intrepid. If she does buy it would flushing theoil system and starting from scratch help or will the sludge (if it is present) stick and stay?I figured with 155,000 on it and looking as clean as it does we might be lucky and have a winner. With a new baby they are pretty strapped and this looks to be a great vehicle. Then on the bad side IF we should need one andy Idea what a 3.2l usually runs. The car is in great shape so iwould be up to replacingIF need be.

Thanks to all,

Andy the concerned Gradpa
