Default Ignition problem?

HI, I have a 89 Daytona shelby 2.2 TII.
A few weaks ago i had an oil leak which resulted in fire... So changed injection cables andsoon... Now It won't start... I think the ignition timing is off but I can't find that information :s. Because of the fire it could be that the 2 cables who send signial to the injectors are exchanged. Tried to start up with swiching them .. no change... I get fuel and i have spark but I'm gessing the timing must be off. Tried a few different connections and a few times it almost started butstill oneore more timings must be off.
Do you know te injection sequence and the spark sequence. Now it's spark sequence is 1432.

Default RE: Ignition problem?

Timing was off , fixed this.
Checked which cable linked to ECU , was correct.
Now the engine wants to start, but as it wants to kick in at 500 rpm it shuts down... I press the pedal so it would get more fuel and run, but it doesn't react as if it doesnt get te signal to give more gas...
Fault code I get 12: so ECU standby due to power .. Could this have an inpact? The swich off relay how does it work?

The firing order according to Chilton for a 2.2L and 2.5 L should be 1342. Distributor rotation clockwise. Still trying to figure out what error code 12 is doing to my 90 Daytona and my 93 Dynasty. Simple check first is to get the corrosion off your battery cables and connections or change out the wires since you had an engine fire. Or just change out the battery. My car "resets" itself for no apparent reason, as every time I reset my radio's clock, the thing mysteriously goes back to 12:00 and tells time from there. I have been driving my Daytona for years with that error code 12. The only thing that drives me crazy is that my turn signals tend to stop working at the worst possible times. Changed the switch, but it didn't work. I just beat the heck out of the dash to get them to work. I will have a problem soon as it needs to be inspected. My mechanic and I will be working on this very soon. Hope this helps a bit.
