Default Lowering my 4x4

Wanting to lower my 1994 dakota 4x4. Does anyone know if the lower a arms for the 2wd fit on the 4x4? I figur if they do that would giveme moor distance between the bumpstop and the aarm. C notch looks like it will be quite difficult has anyone don it and if so could you post some pics or tell me ware I can find them.

Thanks
Chris

as far as I can see, and maybe my eyes need to be checked, the lower A-arm from 2wd will NOT fit the 4x4, but to get the front to sit lower, you could de-crank the torsion bars, not sure how low you want to go (or why, but you put the gas in it, not me, your call), as for the rear, your best bet would be to swap in the rear suspension off a 2wd then use lowering blocks to get it down. It's harder IMO to lower the setup on the 4x4. Good luck with your project, post some pics too

Ya like said above the control arm wont work. Just crank the torsion bars down. And the back use some longer schakles. or remove some rear springs. This would be good for an in or 2. If you want more do a frame swap to a 2wd. or air bags and do a spring under axle swap.

I live in kalispell montana and it is heavily wooded and with the turning radius of these trucks it in my opinion would not be a good rig for that.

I should have asked does anyone have any ideas of how to correct the camber after the torsion bars are de cranked (looks like a 4x4 with really bad hubs), also thinking bout cutting the bump stops down or just taking a torch and removing them altogether to get more travel cuz as it is if I de crank the torsion bars to set ware I want it to set the weight of the truck is on the bump stops. The front cross member will be about 4 or 5 inches off the ground and that is plenty for on road.

A thought wile other 2wd rigs are spinning the tires on take off I am already headed down the road also better gas mileage. If I can keep my foot out of the throttle -
