Hi dear Friends:

Just now when I was going to buy the monroe struts for my truck I noticed that Shockwarehouse is offering Ranchos for our trucks, a little bit more expensive, but before doing my request for shocks I would like your opinion. On another internet forums I read that Ranchos are made by Monroe but I cannot say that is true. Anyone can help me to decide???

I dont think they are the same as monroe, but they are owned by the same company...

Well yes I think also that, but.... what about that Ranchos listed on shockwarehouse??? any idea??? because I called them and they affirm that they are in stock and that will also fit the 06 model, knowing already that the monroes do fit on the 06s.

Any comments??? I want to buy the struts and shocks for my truck.

I checked the online shock catalog on rancho website and its true, 2005-2006 4wd and 2wddakota, raised 0", RS5000 shock part no.

Its about time we start having a few options. Good to know by the time I am ready to do all 4, which will probablly be at around 75,000 miles (Im not to picky, I dont mind how the dakota rides), that i will have a few options.

Thank you for noticing, Mr. Moderator. I will intro myself and my truck in a new message, away from the shock discussion here. The shocks on my 2006 QC HO 37500 mile Dak suck, suck hard. I've heard good things about the Monroe switch, and hope to hear better about the Rancho. Limited funds, shocks for Christmas? By the way,thank youall for your help on this, and many other issues.
