Default Hellboy II blunder??????

Help me out here. Hellboy, as I understand it, has this big red brick for a right hand. Can't be removed as it is part of him since birth.

So I am seeing these previews for the movie and looking forward to it alot. I notice that there is a scene on these previews where Hellboy lights his cigar using his RIGHT HAND and it is does not have the big red whatever there. Am I missing something?

The link below will take you to the Hellboy site, click to see the trailer and near the start there is a close up of him lighting his cigar and he says "I wouldn't do that if I were you". What do you see?

i'll be honest it sure looks that way

but people get paid a lot of money to keep that from happening, there may be a good reason

It also may be just that it's the wrong picture being posted, as if you look in the trailer, his hand is correctly done up...

Coincidentally, that scene you posted up actually appears in the trailer, so it looks like someone may have actually screwed up...

That would be a slip up, and has probably already been caught. Most of the time the trailers they show before the movie aren't from finished scenes, they just throw random parts together. I have no doubts that it will be fixed by the time the movie comes out next weekend through editing.

I just saw a clip from the movie showing the part batman13 posted... It appears that the website is showing a negative of the actual movie image for some reason. In the clip, when he says, "I wouldn't do that...", he's pointing with his left hand.
