Default After Market Head Unit Questions

i have this aftermarket head unit (pioneer 860mp)

first i went and bought a wireing harnes adaptor and none of the coulours where right and the pins where not in the right location[:@] so i no its not a smart move but i have decided to cut my harness

second my head unit has a lighting switch dimmer(a wire that contoles britness) i no that my neon has a (blk/yel) headlight in AND a (org) dimmer switch. is the dimmer one the right one to use and if so what the hell do i do with the other one?

third should i take the ground of the head unit and use a bolt and both the factory ground to it and electrial tape it or just re locate that ground and if sowhat should i do with the factory ground

thanks

I dont know what ur talking about with the harness. Any smart person pays $6 for the harness for your car. The ground off your deck needs to either be grounded on the metal of the car or hooked to the ground wire that powered the stock radio. The antenna will act as a ground also. So you dont need much. I have never had a issue with installing one. But yet again I didnt rig mine up.

first never cut the harness again
second use just the headlight switch dimmer wire is not needed.
third use the stock ground the black wire with the black clip or ring on it
