I went smooth. All preference, personally I do not like fake bolts which is why. But once again, that is a personal preference.

smooth flares look alot classier to me, i think theres a huge difference in the two...the only thing i'd put the pocket flares on is a hunting truck

Depends on the look your going for. the smooth look again looks cleaner, but the pocket style puts off a more agressive look. to me atleast. I would choose the Pockets

I would say the same as the others....pocket flares if you have a beast of a truck, smooth if its a little more tamed....

It may just be an inllusion but the pocket flares seem to be a little more "squared off" than the smooth. I think a little squareness fits the truck better, especially for a 4x4 model.

Because of that I'll be going with the pockets whenever I get the chance for more mods.

There are two BW smooth options. The OE stye, which is 1.75" I think. What I have, which is the extend-a-fender, 2.25". Do not know the pocket exactly, but I think they start at 2.25".

As for the sqared off look, the pocket and extend-a-flare are the same. The OE style hugs the truck more, resulting in less protection towards the bottom of the wheel well line.
