I use a pp3 and when I ordered it a couple years ago that question never came up. HMM!

I bought the hypertech programer last month and it restored the speedo and shift points and i got 35's. Plus you can tell the difference on level one. It dumps a good amount of soot on level 2 and 3. I'm gonna get 33's because my 35's are rubbing the lower contol arm at full turn.

The Hypertech changed the speedo on that truck so I guess I have that brake thing. BTW I put in for a 33" tire and it was off. I ended up having to put in for like a 32.25" tire to get it to be right. So you might want to check it with a gps or something. It got it right just took some fiddling with.

Default RE: BIG TIRES 315'

i have a hypertech and it will not give me a prompt for the tire change.[:@] my brake controller does say kelsey hayes and has a bunch of part number stickers on it. i called hypertech and talked to an idiot. he didn't know anything and couldn't tell me why mine wouldn't prompt for tire size.

the kelsey hayes stamp is on the rear of the black plastic ABS case.
i started a thead to try and figure out a pattern to why the hypertech would sometimes not work, but didn't get enough good responses to identify anything.

forum members - if you will complete the questions below, it might help other members identify why this does/does not work. if you can provide details - it will be helpful. if you can't provide any details, then frankly - you are not contributing anything useful....

-
who are you - dhvaughan
year,drive - 2001 4wd
hypertech part # - 50006
hypertech rev - 06.16.22
brake controller - Kelsey Hayes
brake controller part number stickers
- sticker on rear P5201 0075 AD TXXBU 0791 A1154
- sticker on front C1H8MHQ 13451521-D
your ABS - REAR only. (vs all 4 wheel). if its all 4 wheel it will have a wire to the front hub tone ring
did it allow you to recalibrate speedo - NO
