Default Got some new parts!!!

I finally got some money and decided to put it towards my truck.

I bought an Intake, a throttle Body Spacer, and i also ordered a lowering kit that will be here on tuesday.

The TBS and the Intake are already here and are both on the truck now, i have included pics

I hope to gain a little power out of the engine mods, and if i get 1 more mile to the gallon better on gas i will be happy.

send that TBS back, and get your money back, i hope you didn't spend alot on it, it does nothing for your performance, they are proven to work on ONLY Carbureted engines, not EFI engines, which your 4.7 is.

Wasnt there a BIG long article about TBS? I remember reading one (pretty sure it was on here) and it was a good read. Was very informative and more objective than I thought it would be.

ok....... i did my own test on this thing. i drove home tonight with it on and tested my gas milage on the way home and most of the time i get 19-20 on the highway and tonight i averaged 22 almost 23 mpg, so i think i will keep it on there.

its more than likely the cold air intake getting you better mileage, but do whatever you want.

well it didn't seem to get any better gas miage with just the intake on there. I think im just gonna leave it on there.

By the way i have the whole stock intake unit for it with a slightly used air filter as well if anybody wants it make me an offer.
