Default Dodge Ram VIN

I got a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins and I was wondering where can I find the VIN number on the frame of my car. I'm not talking about the sticker on the inside of front door or the one located on the dashboard. I am looking for location of the VIN number that is ingraved on the actual frame of the truck and its location. Where exactly it is?

Thanks

Default RE: Dodge Ram VIN

Those numbers your looking for are called con numbers. "Con" stands for confidential and are not open to the public. This is for law enforcement only so car thieves can't find them, and law enforcement still has a way to identify a vehicle. The con numbers are stamped on the frame and engine and the last 6 digits are the only thing that is visible. Most vehicles are stamped on the top of the main frame of vehicle, and very difficult to find. You will need some WD-40 to clean the area, a flashlight, and might have to take the bed of the truck off to get to those numbers.
