Default Hood Scoop idea.

hey guys,

alright, so after about 5 beers, my dad and i looked at our 81 turbo mustang hoodscoop that we got from a wreckers for 5 bucks years ago and tried to decide which stang to put it on again.(we do this often cuz we dont know which one we want it on. and we have three stangs). so i look over at the truck and slap it on there and presto, the ram looks BITCHIN with it on there. so im gonna mock it up and spray it black primer and take a pic so u guys can gimme your input. im addin to it so it will follow the hood shape right now and its red so takin a pic will be useless.

ive never seen a ram around here with a scoop. let alone like this. im sick of all the store bought hoods. i was thinkin like a 4 inch cowl but ive done the cowl on my stang so f that.

ok guys, sorry to dissapoint you, it was canada day yesterday and all the stores were close= no primer, but i snapped some right now of thescoop in red. im in the proccess tn of moulding it to the shape of the ram hood., slightly more curved than the mustang. but o well here it is.

and i wasnt knockin the bought scoop hoods, theres just a large concentration of people with s10s and a cowl hood. i just wanna turn heads with this scoop.

srry about the blurry shots, i snapped em quick lol.

I like it, it would be perfect if you could somehow get ur air filter directly under it like the old muscle cars, just cut hole in hood and direct ram air. Either way i think that looks sick on ur ram.

Will look sweet once done. Even better with a black grill. IMO.
