back whit my old vp44 i was lucky to fetch 360 miles out of a tank
when i put my new vp44 i jumped right to the mid 400 zone
and now whit smarty on 8 and edge on 2-5 i did 3 time in a row 505-510-505

of course they were mostly higway miles but im rather happy anyway

i went from 12 miles a gallon to 15 to 16.6 miles a gallon
i aired up my tire a tad today,they were a little low maybe it will help too

isnt it funny how more power will get you more mileage? logic would say that if you turn up the fueling, your mileage would go down...[&:] I'm happy to see mine in the mid 18's easily with only 1x at 19.00 mpg. maybe someday...

hehe at the start of the summer vacations 2 last week of july im removing the head
to get it decked and grooved for firerings... my new BD exaust manifold,Towing Twins,headstuds,200hp sticks will go in.... [sm=icon_rock.gif]
im wainting to have time for this since about 2 months....
i will remove the muffler and the resonator as well
and after a couple retorque and a DD SBC
i will put water-meth and prolly a 2 stage nitrous system[sm=crossbonesgif.gif]
i wonder how much millage i will gain after getting used to it[sm=teetertooter.gif]

06 quad cab long box 4x4 all stock but not for long!!!

well i dunno,right now im prolly around 450HP,
i get 40psi on tap and still plenty of fuel left unburn as smoke still get out of stacks on edge 2-5,
when i put it on 5-5 its a bit better on power but i smoke like a coal train so im up for more air

maybe around 600-650 i will be happy...

2001 Ram2500 - 4x4 Diesel
4.5" lift, rollin on 35x12.5's

I got 20mpg on my last fill up. I have been trying to see what I can get out of my truck. I drove 203 miles and put 10.1 gallons in it. I have the edge and have the setting on low smoke and best mileage.
