Default A/C Blows cold through defroster?????

I have a 00 3500 CTD A/C blows cold through the defrost vents, the fan & temp works as well as the a/c shuts off when changed from a/c to vent but still blows out of defroster...is it the climate control or the vacuum line valve behind the dash? Also, if it is the valve where behind the dash is it?? I also need a Factory service manual & I am having a hell of a time finding one...any ideas? I've tried ebay, Geno's garage & I'm at a dead end.

It's for the 2001 but I'm sure it'll work for you.

Maybe I forgot something in my first post- the link:
http://www.dodgeforum.com/m_340929/tm.htm

Or I guess it could have been removed...

There is a TSB out for it

-can't verify this link actually works cause I'm in the office but you might want to look at http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2002/24-004-02.htm

I'm not seeing that any of our guys wrote up a DIY on how to pull it. Most folks have it break while there still in warranty and sense pullin the dash is such a PITA we all just send it in. You might want to jump over to the 2nd Gen section and see if they have a good write up there.
