Default Gravel driveway ruining Tires!!!!!!

Ok I live at my gf's house with a gravel driveway. My new Cooper atrs are getting trashed! Tons of rocks get stuck in the thick tread and its ruining my tires! I went to take a huge peice of rock that was sticking out like a soar thumb and as i flicked it out a huge peice of tread fell right off. So then I looked around and noticed it all over ! in several spots I am missing peices of broken of thick tread! wtf do i do this suckssssssss I even noticed a crack along like %25 of the inner wall of the tire. What the hell is that from can it be fixed?

Nothin for nothin;

That gravel driveway should NOT take chunks out of you tires. Get rocks in the treads, sure, but hurt the treads?

Glad I got Nittos. No offense.

Sounds like your tires are pieces of $h!t! That should never happen! A lot of my driving is on gravel and dirt roads and I have never heard of this happening! I ran the Nitto Terra Grapplers for a while and had no issues! And for that fact I have never Heard of any tire doing that, except for maybe a re-tread!

Yeah, i think you got a bad set of tires. I run Coopers as well andoften in big rocks with no tearing. Gravel should have no effect at all.

I picked these tires up like new ...had to be no more than 1,000 miles on it. I guess I am pretty much screwed with the 50k mile warranty cus I got em 2nd hand

yeah man if it were me, I would call the place who makes them and tell them the story, sounds like you just got a bad batch or something. If they stand behind the product they will replace them due to malfunction/defect
Good luck

So they were used? Are they dry rotted at all? That could be the problem. Even though they have low miles on them they could have been sitting for a long time.
