Default intake question....

i put a cold air intake in my stratus (03 sxt if it's relavant) any way,ever since i have a high pitch squeel ,almost like a brake squeel but not as loud...at low throtle maybe 15 - 2500 rpms. im wonderin if any one might know anything about this. thanx ..

check to make sure that everything on the intake is tight. i just have the joints in the CAI, and the tube that runs to the top of it. most CAIs will give you more noise, but if its a brake squeal sort of noise, i would make sure that everything is tight..also, are you certain that the noise is coming from the cai?

I'm betting that you have a leak as mentioned above or maybe a hose popped off of it
