Default How much battery draw does one LED light in a switch draw?

I just put LED lights under the rails of my truck. I have them wired up to a switch that has a small LED light in it that glows all the time when off. How much battery draw would a small led light in the switch itself pull from the battery being on all the time?? (just the switch light)[/align]

LED's draw very little power. I've run mine 8 hours at a car show with the stock battery in my Stratus.

Default RE: How much battery draw does one LED light in a switch draw?

Greetings,

A single LED housed in a switch will draw 10mA (0.010A) to 25mA (0.025A) depending upon the internal series resistor.

A LED drawing 25mA (0.025A) could run 24/7 for a month before having a noticeable affect upon a fully charged12V automotive battery.

Thats about what I thought. I would thing the clock memory would use about the same amount of power.
