Default water/methanol injection opinions

I was told by a customer of mine that is a huge turbo fanatic that an awesome addition to a turbo car....is a stage 2 water/methanol injection kit......he recommended snow performance kit that can be found through summit racing...i guess it has a 7 quart container and it fogs the throttle body with methanol and i makes it just like you are running on 100 octane......is this a wise decision.......i have stage 2 w/o toys....cai 3" turboback custom exhaust....msd ignition....bla bla bla.....does anyone have experience with these systems.....any pros or cons or supporting mods that i would need for this?

w/i is a great upgrade to any turbo car. snow performance however is not the best choice. way over priced for their kits. check out devil's own or coolingmist, much better kits.

i'm using a s1 devil's own kit, it's been on the car for about three years or so now. works great.

what you're talking about is called a progressive kit. it varies the amount sprayed based on boost levels. those are better kits, but they are a LOT more expensive. progressive controllers can be upwards of $350 just for the controller, and you still need jets and a pump. for most applictions a single or dualstage kit is more than enough. if you're planning on building a motor and going all out then definetly get the progressive, or if you have the money then go for it. if you want to keep costs down, a single or dual stage kit works just fine. i run a single stage dual 5lph nozzle set up and it works just fine, keeps knock down and reduces egt's just like it should!
