Default MIRROR GLASS

Hi:
Trying to wiggle my 30' enclosed car trailer out of a tight driveway, I bumped my passenger side outside mirror, and popped the "glass" out. It hung on the heater wires, and didn't fall to the ground, but it did crack the glass. I was able to pop it right back into place, but I'd like to replace it, just for of appearance reasons. Anybody know there to get the replacment piece, without buying a whole mirror assembly from the stealer? er...I mean dealer? It's the electric controlled, and heated type, on an '05 2500 4X4 CTD
Thanks !

Default RE: MIRROR GLASS

You can buy just the glass from the dealer and not have to buy the whole mirror. There are actually 2 different power/heated towing mirrors. On the back of the glass, were there 3 metal fingers sticking out or was there a metal ring? I can get you the part numbers but it depends on which way the glass is attached.....

sorry to be so long replying, but a car cut dowm the power pole on our corner and the cable company didn't get around to fixing their stuff 'till yesterday.
Anyway the back of the mirror had a circle on it with some finger style clips that hold it on to the mirror assembly. If you could get me the part number I would greatly appreciate it. Unless you have some way of ordering and shipping to me, with payment on a credit card.
Thanks!

Default RE: MIRROR GLASS

We are going to western Ohio for the Crosley National Meet leaving this Thursday afternoon, to our place in the Pa. mountains, and on to Ohio on Tuesday the 8th. We will be returning on the 15th of July. I'll let you know as soon as we return, and you can order the glass for me. I asume I can pay with a credit card, if not let me know how to make payment. The mirror glass is only cracked, with no peices missing so it's still useable, but I want to get it fixed as I don't like any damaged items on my truck. Have a good tome with your off time, and thanks for your responces.
Pete
