I own a 95 dodge stratus 2.5L V6 ES. I recently had the Solenoid and computer replaced to fix transmission problems. Two days after i got it back from the shop i was warming it up and noticed it idleing a little rough. When i tryed to leave it acted like it wanted to die whenever i pushed on the gas. brought it back to the shop and they said they were getting no codes from the computer. They ran a fuel pressure test which came back fine. They told me it might be the distributor... I went online and found the car had a built in code reader so I tryed running it came back with codes 12, 14, 23, 24, 33 and 55. Found out codes 12, 33 and 55 were unimportant. Code 24 is the throttle position sensor I replaced it, no change. Tryed disconnecting the battery to reset the computer. Tryed running the car again... no change. Checked the code reader again, this time it only sent back codes 12, 23 and 55. Code 23 is Internal air temperature sensor. Could this problem be caused by that sensor? Where is this IAT sensor located? or could it be the distributor? and why did the code 14 ( map sensor) not show upagain after replacing the TPS sensor and reseting the computer? I've spent almost 700$ so far trying to fix my car, getting very frustrated please help [:@]

I have the same model car as you and was wondering if you could tell me where the built in code reader is located.

The built in code reading procedure is to get in, close all the doors, and turn the key from off to on (do not start) 3-5 times. the numbered codes will show up as a blinking of the Check Engine Light. You can then look up the codes online (they might be somewhere in this forum).
A more detailed method would be to visit your local AutoZone, they do readings for free too with the handheld reader. Only works if the check engine light is on.
