All the beds will bolt up the same but the pre 80 beds have different body lines. The same may apply for the 91-93 but not sure.

does that mean that the pre-first gens have the same frames as the 81+ trucks?

i have an 84 and i put an 88 bed on it and i had to make a bracket for the two right front bed mounts so there is a few diffrences in them.
