I want to get my TB bored out but do you need to also get it ported and polished to do anything? or is just boring good?

You don't say I4 or V6 the V6 can be bored out to 59mm you'll need to fab a new butterfly plate no need to port and polish the intake

where did you get them cause i could only find the 8.5mm ones? and how much? what about nology are those good?

They were $85 or so been 8/10 years I think they were discontinued then , thats why they were cheap..
I've never run Nology so no idea on them
