Default Kicker Sound System

How much work is it to install the upgradedfactory kicker sound system in a SRt-4.
Well lets say if I had the speakers, sub and wiring harnes for the inside of the car.
How many wire are different from the stock sound system to the kicker ordo I have to run some cables all the way to the radio.
Has anybody done this.

Thanks

not sure if its prewire for it. although i will say that i wouldnt pay near retail for one, as you could have much better custom system for that amount.

perhaps check where the sub would mount in the trunk? might be the best place to check first.

Thanks for the info. Yes I was able to pick up everything cheap so once I figure it all out will post some pictures and write up if it works.
This question is off topic but I take it your suppose to drain the OCC every so often is that correct? The car that I just got has one. Need to post a picture of the engine so people can tell me what that hell the precious owner did their.Sorry about the off topic again.

Most of the wiring should be the same but you will have to run audio and power wires from the headunit to the sub it is not pre-wired as far as I know, but mine is a 03 so the kicker system wasn't available that year anyway - I went aftermarket in mine.
