Default $2400 3" lift

Went to some places today to get some prices for a 3" suspension lift. Got anywhere from 2400-3000. My friend is getting a 6" for his chevy for 1700. Are the dakotas that expensive for lifts? Btw, went out in the rain today for some fun and was wondering if anyone can spin their tires in 4wd, I couldn't get any.

lucky you you found a lift for yours I cannot find any suspension lifts for my dakota, all I can find are body lifts, and I have a 4X4 and I can spin the tires a little too easily

I'm talking about spinning them in 4wd, not just a 4x4. Where did you find it for that price? Everywhere I checked it was a little over 2000 for the parts and a few hundred more for install.

umm idk about the lift, but i cannot spin my tires in rain w/ 4wd engaged, you really shouldnt be able to thats the idea of 4wd is to prevent wheelspin and lost momentum(or so i thought)

there aren't to many lift kits out there for these trucks and with the ifs in the front that is the main reason for the high cost's. i'd say crank your t-bars 2 inchs and add 1 or 2 inch blocks in the back and call it done.

Yeah, that was for the suspension lift, I'll just go for a 300 buck body lift instead.
