Default electronic brake controller hookup

I have a 2000 Dakota 4.7 5 speed man. How do I hook up the brake wire and where? I don't have a towing package.

Well, i know that the factory ones, like mine, have the harness already in the truck next to the steering wheel. The controller instructions should say where everything hooks up to. Sorry I cant be any help there.

Only thing I can add is it's a real pain to do if
you don't have the Towing-Package already installed,..
Pay a trailer shop 50 bucks to install it,.. It's worth it in
the long run.

Now, I will definitely agree with JB. I remember someone doing that and saying the exact same thing.

Go pay a little money for some long term piece of mind.
