Default Location of kickdown solenoid?

I am wondering if this is easy to find and easy to replace without taking apart tranny? I just want to see if it will fix my shifting problem. My truck has the v6 3.9 motor automatic.

It shifts hard when its not warmed up but when its warmed up its fine. Filter has been changed already. It basically feels like overdrive is off.
