Okay everyone, I'll be honest.  I didn't smoke a HEMI.  I just got my truck, and as one posted earlier on mentioned, it wouldn't be a good way to break it in.  Plus all 180 miles have been on snow packed roads.

By the way, I've only seen that Nissan commercial just once where they race.  Other than that, I've only seen the one where the Titan is driving through some desert or something.

Thanks for the truth dd564... your right about it needing time to break in... is it everything you hoped for?

Yeah right dd. What you smoked was a set of $13.00 hemi badges stuck on the front of a 4.7. You know it, I know it and we all know it. Stay around long enough to fill us in on all the electrical problems ya have with that truck, eh?
One other important factor was not mentioned, which version of the Hemi Ram was it? The Rams weight varies by which version and what options, it could be from 4,700+ LBS. to 6,900+ LBS. whereas your titan at it's possible heaviest is only 5,400 LBS. You could have easily beaten some Hemi Rams while other versions will clean your clock.

By the way, the titan is nissans top performing truck, the Hemi Ram is not Dodges top performing truck. If you want to run your top of the line nissan truck against Dodges top of the line truck, it's called the Ram SRT-10. Good luck!
As I posted before, it is very possible for you to beat a Hemi Ram if it's the right version. But if it's not, then your gonna see nothing but tail lights.

Hi there,

Only 200 miles on the Titan so far, but all is been very good. A lot of cool features like the utility bed which comes with that cubby hole behind the right rear wheel, and the factory sprayed in bed liner.

One thing I noticed is it sits up way high. Looking over minivans and some SUV's with this thing. I think only the Dodge sits higher or as high.

We have a forum where all the Titan guys talk, and mostly all the response has been good, except for one guy who is having an electrical nightmare. Scared me a bit before I bought, but so far, no one else has those problems.

Gas mileage reports are from 11 - 17.

You have had that for a week and you only have 200 miles on it? I had more than that on mine within 4 hours.......however I did pick it up from a dealer that was 300 miles away. Get in it and drive, that's my motto!

Like I said even before ya posted this....keep us informed of all the electrical problems. And that wouldn't be the guy who's seat suddenly starts moving all the way forward while he's driving down the freeway would it?

So dd just wondering, when you buy a jap truck do you have to send the money(and the jobs) to japan, or does the dealer take care of the dirty work?

HEMI an american legend, built in MEXICO. Tell DCX to bring it back home.

95 percent of the Titan truck is built and assembled in Smyrna Tenn. Since the plant is in Tenn , they employ Americans citizens to build the Titan. What is more American than a truck built in the USA, by Americans. Some profit going Back to Japan is not a bad thing. Dodge trucks assembled in Mexico, with the profits going back to Germany (which isn't very pro-American see the war on terror) is no more American than Nissan is today.

Research your facts before making a post about what is American and what is not .

I own two Dodge trucks, 1 GM car, I'm an NRA member, and I vote in every election so questioning my Patriotism is out of the question.

Near where I am in Pasadena , I went to a large car shopping area in Alhambra. There
is a Nissan dealer there who admits that Nissan Titan's can not keep up with the Dodge
Ram HEMI version.....he said, there was a commercial where they briefly showed
a TITAN passing a Dodge Ram, yet this was the ram with a V6 in it!!

Talk about marketing hype.... For those of us in the American Blessed Dodge Hemi Rams,
GOD BLESS....and Its a GOOD Feeling who rules the road.

Nothing againe Ford F150's..sure they are smoother than a RAM...but they should
be ...more grandmas drive those and can't take the speed or most popular look
of the Dodge Ram.

Thank you sgbofav! I could not of said it better myself.

I vote in every election as well, and I'm as Patriotic as the next guy. I don't believe buying a car with a Japanese name (built in Mississippi) hurts us anymore than buying gas from the Arab nations to feed a Dodge gas guzzler or a Nissan gas guzzler.
