Default 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Huge Lift! 4x4 5.9L

This is a 96' Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 SLT 5.9L! GREAT TRUCK AND VERY FUN

Heres a list of Modifications:

- Rock Krawler 8.0 Coil Over PreRunner System ( http://www.tellico4x4.com/product_in...ducts_id/28748)
This kit is amazing with how complete the front suspension really is, The front is adjustable coil-overs with a four-link setup on the front axle. Its set all the way down and is 8" of lift, If needed you can add another 5" in minutes.

- 10" Competition Rear Leaf Springs
These are massive springs for the rear of this truck, I didnt like the way it looked/felt with the blocks on the rear so not only did I get rid of the blocks from the lift kit but also the stock 3" blocks. These Springs are incredibly strong and eliminated any axle wrap that I was having.

- Superlift Rear Shocks
These ensure a smooth ride while performing great on the trails and off

- Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift
Easy way to add another 3" of lift without compromising the great ride quality and handling of this vehicle.

- 38.5" Super Swamper TSL Bogger Tires
Theres nothing these tires cant grab, Easily the tire of choice for any off road competition. They are D.O.T. approved and street legal. The Tread design not only looks awesome but shows its true colors off-road.

- 15" Off-Road Rims
These are stainless steel, look great on the big tires but come in handy when you want to lower the tire pressure for some serious climbing.

- Yukon 4.88 Gears ( Front and Rear )
Perfect ratio for these tires, Made a Night to Day difference on the way this truck drove.

- Chrome One Piece Headlight Kit
Freshened up the apperence of the front end with a new style headlight assembly and one piece corner lights.

- Huge Steel Custom Front Bumber
Attached right to the frame, Its been powdercoated black and comes completly set up for an offroad winch.

- Performance Add-Ons
Jet Chip Stage 2, K&N High Flow Filter (million mile warranty), Bosch Spark Plugs, AutoCraft Silver battery (more powerful than the Optima Yellow Tops) includes two year warranty.

*Not only have a babied my vehicle and always put the best parts on it, but I also did a complete sanding of the Frame, Axles, Drive Shafts, and Underbody and got rid of any rust or corrosion. Its been completly repainted with rust resistant paint and looks brand new.

Also this is not the Factory Paint, Its been this color since Iv had it but is a little darker and way more appealing than the green Dodge choose to use.

Now for the reason why I am parting ways with this Truck, my transmission was always weak and every time I went to a dealership or tranny shop I would get the run around that Dodge's always are, The Gears and Tires were the final straw on my transmission and with 173,000 miles on it I was actully suprised it lasted as long as it did. A Transmission cost around $650 and are usually about another $300-350 depending on warranty, installer, place, etc. for installation. The Truck drives fine in first and reverse but will slip in drive. Not only do I owe my bank money but I dont have the cash or the credit to get this truck back on the road. Like I said, me shooting myself in the foot is your gain. I have no clue where to set the bids on this truck, www.nada.com puts the value at $5,800. The lift kit and gears are only a month old and can provide buyer with all the reciepts, I just invested another $7,000 into this truck with many previous modifications already added. The Truck has a minor chip on the passenger door and one about the size of a dime on the front driver fender, with the nice paint job on this truck it really hurts to acknowledge these careless flaws. The Rear Bumper has a dent, no clue as to how it happend. This was my truck as a high school kid and it definitly did see the sand and mud, so expect some bumps or bruises. I always took great care of it and the interior is in awesome shape. It also comes with an aftermarket CD player and Uhaul Tow hitch. If anyone has any questions or would like me to send them extra pictures feel free to ask. I want to make this process as painless as possible and dont mind helping as much as I can.
