Alright...have a question.

I am going to be buying some new rims for my 1997 Avenger ES.

Right now I have the stock rims on 205/50/17 tires. I want to purchase a new set of rims that will be going on the same tires. Now...the only thing I'm really worried about is the offset.

How do I find out the offset of the stock 97 Avenger ES rims? Is it printed on the rims somewhere? Does anyone what it is from experience?

I don't want to purchase new rims and have the wrong offset...and cause problems.

Help is greatly appreciated.

42/44 offset work

Great...thank you.

What about using a 40 or 45 offset, is that pushing it too much? I see more 40/45 offsets for sale than odd numbers like 42/44.

40 will work on stock height, but if you lower the car it will rub on the rear fender lip and front fender lip during hard wheel compression.  I would be afraid of 45s rubbing the upper suspension part(s).  Stick with BV's recommendations and you'll be worry free.

Ok...my car is currently stock height and I won't be lowering it.

I'll use 40 offset if I cant find 42/44, thanks alot guys.
